I have met Phil Daniels twice! Top man! First time was in 1990 when he played Alex in the RSC Barbican version of Clockwork Orange. Fantastic production, brilliant performances. Phil was a great Alex.
Met him after the show and chatted about Quad, the production etc I was a very shy teenager but he made time for me and my mate and signed my programme.
Few years later I met him again and had a beer with him at a theatre bar in Leicester!
Top choices in films there Corelli...never seen From Hell, really want to. Love the others you mention espesh Carry Ons...in particularly Dont Lose Your Head and Up The Khyber. OOOOH Matron!
I think there's a good bet Nicky has seen Quadrophenia because he does like Britain/British things, he loves films from all over the world and I know for definite he likes the WHO!
I think he would identify with Phil Daniels character Jimmy. Just for the record I think Phil Daniels is great! Have you noticed how many of our top British actors appear in Q...Phil, Ray Winstone, Mark Wingett, Phil Davies and John (Nick Cotton) Altman.
BTW...a few more of my faves...
The Carry On's... - British comedy films from the Carry On team!

Great choices Vixens!! Corelli, forgot all about Taste Of Honey/10 Rillington.../Saturday Night...... I love those kitchen sink dramas....also Billy Liar, Kes etc
I wonder if Nic has seen Quadrophenia? Probably unlikely as it being very british, I think he would appreciate the music, the wildness...lol and Jimmys quite dark character. I think the themes are universally identifiable.
Mind you I say perhaps he hasnt seen it.....but he loves Clockwork Orange and The Wicker Man of course, both as British as you can get.

I'll add to the list later
Ok, I started this on another forum, thought I would continue here with you lovely vixens. Try and forget Nic for a minute......LOL, and tell me your fave films without Mr Cage......if it is possible for any of you to have any others!
Here goes-
1 Clockwork Orange- Love this film and book. A social masterpiece and an influence on many filmakers, artists, writers etc. Over 30 years old but as relevant as when it was first made..if not more so!
2. Quadrophenia- We Are The Mods! The best british uk teen film ever made with a great soundtrack, fantastic performances and a the well known "sex in the alleyway" scene. Based on Who album
3.Saturday Night Fever- Like an american Quadrophenia featuring universal themes of growing up and making your mark in the world. Travolta when he was great.
4. Blow Out- Ditto Travolta when he was great! Brian De Palmas underrated conspiracy masterpiece. This film got Travolta his Pulp Fiction role..16 years later!
5. Wicker Man- The orginal one that is!
Theres more but I wanna hear from you lovely laydeeeeeees...
