Yup, that's what I do...a friend of mine got a response from the guy who does the voice of Homer Simpson once...it's a personalized autograph ^^ She says that if there was a fire in her house that'd be the first thing for her to grab

I've written a few, one of which I got a reply with a signed autograph, although I know it's autopenned, but it's still a NICe pic of Nic now hanging on my Nic shrine

Yes, I've read about it. It's common practice to send prints to fans because celebrities don't have the time to write on soooooooooooo many photos However, there's a small chance that he's in the office when mail arrives, so he could sign some by himself, but it's not that probable Nevermind, I wrote a shrt letter and I'll send it tomorrow.
What fans have to understand is that they aren't the only ones writing to Nic! He must get thousands of letters asking him to write back and/or send his autograph but that would be impossible even if he didn't have an already hectic schedule!
Yep, I realize it, I've never had any illusions about it. I wrote once - during the summer holidays, but I got no reply. I have 6 or 7 addresses, some are VIP Fan Mail Service. I think I'll try the Saturn address as well. Just wanted to know if it's worth it. 10q, Corelli.
I've written a Coppola letters to Nicky and in return I received - both times - a signed 5x7 colour photo of him.
I wrote to him c/o Saturn Productions but I must stress although it was Nicky's signature on both photo's it was a copy of his signature and not actually signed by him. Saturn Productions obviously sent my letters on to a company that deals with fan mail beacuse both pics were sent by a company that sends out autogrpahed photo's of stars.
It's doubtful that Nicky will see, or read, any fan letters and if he does I doubt he will ever reply in person.
