Lol!
I've never had the problem of mud soaked teens running riot but as you say you used to love playing out in the rain so let them have their fun!
They're only young once!
So long as they don't ruin the decor or carpets! LMAO!

Does anyone here LOVE to play in the rain? Do you have sweet childhood memories of warm summer rainfalls? Well.......I ask because when my children were young and there was a warm spring/summer rainfall, I'd grab the umbrellas and them and I'd take them outside to frolic in the rain! We'd jump in puddles and feel the raindrops on our faces and tongues and we'd have a great time.....
Well, that was many years ago..........and today, I realize, that because of my silly mothering.....I have created a MONSTER! Yes! Indeed, I have!
We just had a downpour here in Chi-town. My daughter and her girlfriend were outside kicking a soccer ball around when it started and wouldn't ya know it.....the dear daughter got the wild idea to play in the rain.....and in the MUD!
The two of them just came to the back door COVERED....LITERALLY COVERED in mud....face and all...............
I didn't throw a hissy fit but I did tell them that they couldn't come in the house until they took the hose and rinsed themselves off. The water from the hose was so cold they decided to take their clothes off in the back yard (leaving only their underwear). I thought they'd come straight in then....but NO! One of them decided that since they heard MUD BATHS were good for the skin....that they should slather themselves again in MUD! And off they ran....back out into the mud!
OMG! Can you picture two budding beauties running around in a suburbian back yard in bikinis and mud??? Can you get arrested for this behavior in your own back yard????
Cripes.....and now they want in the house!
HELP!!!!!
