I hear that a lot...that if you want a better chance of getting something you should send a self addressed/stamped envelope along with your letter, although I personally don't see why the celebrity would have a problem with simply writing an address on an envelope and putting a little $0.50 stamp on there (or whatever the stamp price would be)
thats an older picture, i bet things were different when he was younger he probably did read his fan mail maybe then, but now i don't think. its too bad, when actors are younger or newer in the business they do those things but it seems as time goes on they stop, they get too busy. in my opinion or if i ever became a celebrity i would try to find time for some of the mail, because its your fans that make you famous and they are important to your career no matter how long you've had your career. Corelli, you are lucky to have got those pics, because i know of 2 people that sent mail to Saturn a couple of years ago, and got nothing back. Did u send a self addressed stamped envelope? when was it? Was Saturn a new company at that time?
Mhmm...that's what I was thinking...haha, If I go somewhere Nic is I'll be sure to have a pic of Nic and a sharpie with me all the time for if/when I saw him
Well I think he has sent out an autograph or two...I saw on google someone had a personalized autographed photo of Nic...I'm not sure if it's real or not, but I don't see why it wouldn't be. This is it:
Well...I wrote to Nic a Coppola times in the past and both times I sent the letters to Saturn Productions. Three weeks after I wrote to him, on both occasions, I received the same 5x7, colour, glossy photo of him with his autograph pre printed.
What happens is this...
fan mail (not only Nic's but many stars) isn't opened at it's destination. Our fan mail is redirected, unopened, to a company that handles fan mail. These people sort out the mail and any dangerous letters that contain suspect gifts or mention marrying a celebrity, being in love with a celebrity, harming a celebrity,or threatening the celebrity or mentioning jesus or anything religeous are immediately sent to the FBI. Decent fan mail such as requests for photo's and autographs are replied to by way of the said pre autographed photo.
The documentary also suggested to me that star's publicity people don't like their particular stars fans...they see us as a nuisance which is rich seeing as it's the fans that make these people stars and keep these PR flunkies in a good job! I don't believe it's any stars fault...it's their PR people...they're more obsessive and protective of their star than the fans.
I saw this on a tv documentary about stars and their stalkers...unfortunately these nut cases have made it difficult for decent fans to get mail to their favourite celebrity or to meet their favourite celebrity so now every fan is looked upon with suspicion.
It's sad to say but it's a very slim chance Nic will ever see, or read, any of his fan mail. The only way to get a letter to Nic is put it in his hand and even then who knows...it may get passed on to a flunky and he may never read it!
I can see both sides to this...it would be NICe if Nic replied to fan mail but being realistic he must get thousands of letters and with his heavy work schedule it would be impossible for him to reply to even a few let alone everyone! Also...he and/or his people may think it unfair if some were to get a reply and not others so he doesn't send out any! But more likely his 'people' stop our mail from reaching him...I can believe that!
In my opinion it wouldn't hurt him to send out the occasional reply to a fan's letter requesting an autographed photo. Over the years I've met loads of famous people and I've got handwritten letters and photo's from some of them.
Loew, Good luck, rumor has it that Nic Cage doesn't get or respond to his mail or anything. i don't know why because he should care about his fans when they send mail or things and such. its possible that someone else goes thru it and then it gets trashed. its really a shame but many celebs do this. they never even know they got the mail. Now bands and musicians, they are way easier than celebrities. They love to interact with fans more and i have actually been backstage for at least three popular bands after their concerts just because i asked them when they were on the stage. All i did was ask either the lead singer or the band manager and they said yes and i went backstage and met them all and got autographed photos. I suppose that musicians truly love having fans.
He owns quite a lot of property...there's his many homes in the USA -LA/Hollywood, Las Vegas, San Francisco and New Orleans - as well as property in The Bahama's, Germany and England.
I'm not sure if he uses them all as homes...he may have bought some as investments?
OMG...could you imagine us lot let loose in chez Cage! He'd have his own Vixens harem! Lol. Poor Nic might find us quite a handful! Hee hee! Mind you...he has so many houses he could put one of us in each house! I'll settle for the house in Bath...it's nearest to London! Lol.
hahahah ! yeah, he deffinitely should eh but then again, if he brought us into his home, he might need a few extra body guards just to keep us off of him!
but who's to say he wouldnt want us on top of him?!
Well...I've never heard of this group or this guy but it's NICe to know they appreceate their fans!
It's great when a star takes time out to get in touch. Hollywood movie star Joan Crawford loved her fans...so much so she recruited some of her female fans, who used to hang out outside her house, to help with her fan club! She invited them into her home, gave them coffee and sandwiches and signed pics and in return they used to send out all her fan mail! How cool is that!
Well this was a lovely suprise. On Wednesday I went to a Five for Fighting concert with a few friends, and yesterday I was really bored, and e-mailed John Ondrasik saying how much I enjoyed the concert....and I got a reply! Haha, I like that they actually reply to their mail if it's by e-mail... it was a very NICe thing to see when I checked my email today. It was a short email response, but a response none the less...it said:
"thanks chelsea, we had a good time too!
:)
J."
Just felt it was something neat to share with you allNow all I've gotta do is find a way to get a good Nic e-mail and get a response from him
