Yes, but sometimes that is when an actor can be his most artistic. I hope that Electric God will shoot soon. I will for sure go to see it when it comes out.
Comedy would be great, but I think that Electric God could be one of his best upcoming roles ever! I think that he is great at deep thinking artsy type films. though really, i like him in most everything, he is very versatile and can play all types of roles.
After noting what book you said this movie is to be based on I went to amazon.com to look up what readers/reviewers of the book might have to say about the book.
After reading them and the synopsis of the book, I have to say that this role could be the role of a lifetime for Nic.
However, it could easily be a very 'dark' space in which Nic would have to work and delve into.
I still wish we could see Nic in a true comedy again. Some laughter, some love, some good vibes......That's what I want to see Nic in! ;) FLUFF!

Electric God is still listed as a future film for Nic . I think that this will be the GREAT one for him! I recently bought the book "Electric God" by Catherine Ryan Hyde, the film is based on it. I haven't read it yet, but it looks great. The back cover reads like this- " Hayden Reese thought he could have it all-and, once, he almost did: a wife and daughter he adored, a child on the way.
