Pete is just this minute reading out to me from an old London history book - The Baedeker's Guide to London and it's environs - that the Trinity Church we passed the other day, in Kingsway, is on the opposite side to Wild Court where BENJAMIN FRANKLIN worked as a printer! Lol.
I had a Twilight Zone moment too on Saturday when we were going Nic huntin'!
We passed a street called WESTON Street in Bermondsey, Southwark, then we passed a TRINITY CHURCH (as in NT - here at the Wall/ Broadway!) then we came across NICHOLAS Lane in the City of London! Lol.
I just got to share this 'do do do do do do' with ya's and hope it makes ya's laugh.
I'm having a 'nicsign' day. I used to get em' alot, not so much anymore but this is what happened today...
I had to visit my dog Panzer this morning at the vet and on the way home I was lost in thought and listening to the radio. I looked out my rear view mirror only to see a motorcycle racing up behind me. As it got closer, I had to giggle. The guy was dressed like Johnny Blaze! He had on a red and white helmet with flames on it and was also dressed in red and white leather bike suit like Nic wore in Ghost Rider. I thought my eyes were gonna pop out of my head but I decided to simply smile and the guy and give him a wave.
I then cut thru the mall near my house only to get stopped at one point because a van with the words NEXT sprawled across it was trying to enter the traffic.
Again....I was taken aback and then decided to just grin and laugh like a stuck pig over the oddity of it.
Folks.....I kid you not and I tell no lies.....This DID happen!
Do do do do do do......I live in the Twilight zone. It can be fun here.....LOL!
Have a wonderful day all!
