That is so true Lula, i always thought of myself as tough on the outside and soft on the inside, well tonight my soft side came out, it actually brought tears to my eyes, i hate to admit it as well..lol, but it was emotional, and once you start to sing them, even if you can't sing its just the taking part, you all become one voice, you can probably understand where i coming from, as you have the same spiritual sense of being like me
that's really beautiful Scorpiolady. You are right about the true meaning of christmas.. it is all to easy to get wrapped up in what is not important. Carols have a kind of timeless magic and all the love energy that's been poured into them over the years gets recreated when we sing them. Very humbling.. A reminder of our oneness.

This evening i attended the local church Christmas Carol concert, i hate to admit, but i have not been for years, and as my youngest daughter was in the choir i thought i would go along. I was well suprised how many people did attend as there was 120 children singing in the choir. It was one of the most enjoyable evenings i have had for a long time, being serious here, We lose sight of the true meaning of christmas and actually sitting in this beautiful church, it was quite emotional, especially when you sing the carols. The opening carol was the emotional one for me Hark the Herald Angels sing, you feel a sort of glow, peace, it's really hard to describe, but i have seen christmas in a different light, sitting in that church, all your troubles that you may think you have or might have, suddenly doesn't seem so bad or important, it's just being a part of the true spirit of christmas, we take it all for granted, the presents, the drink/food, parties etc, but just sitting in that church actually gave me a different way of seeing christmas
