Yeah, I can see how you would. They were both incredibly different. The only things that were similar is the fact that they had a giant wicker man... lol.

I like the original as it went into more depth regarding the rituals than Nicky's version although I do like Nicky's version as well but I tend to look upon it as a different film rather than a remake of the original.

According to ITV Teletext news they're going to remake The Wicker Man with Christopher Lee and Joan Collins! Lol.
It will be written and directed by Robin Hardy, the director of the original Wicker Man, and follows the Neil LaBute remake which stars Nic!
The Sunday Herald through AITH claimed...''Joan Collins has joined Christopher Lee in the cast, replacing Vanessa Redgrave in the role of Lady Delia Morrison''!
