yes its sad.   the Monkees were cool, my brother has some of their music.  i saw a video on you tube of Davy Jones when he was 19 and doing a screen test for the Monkees Tv show.  it was very sweet.  you can find it on you tube

One of my childhood Idols Davy Jones, singer with The Monkees, has died aged 66.cryno

I loved The Monkees tv show and I had all their records...singles and albums...Daydream Believer is one of my all time favourite songs.
