RE: CLOCKWORK

Yep Johnny...yet another Nic connection...scenes from Nic's favourite movie filmed from my cousin's maisonette in Thamesmead! Lol.

I think A.C.O is a masterpiece with wonderful performances from Malcolm and the supporting cast...disturbing yes but as shocking as a lot of the scenes are we still have to watch it droogies!biggrinwink

The eye scenes in Next were definitely Nic's homage to A.C.O!biggrinwink

Wow thats quite a claim Corelli! I never knew that about your cousin.

Aside from the equally brilliant Quadrophenia, this is another brit cult classic that I was obsessed with. While certanily not to everyones tastes and quite disturbing at times (and dated a bit in others) its still a remarkable film and should be seen for its sheer technical brilliance alone. Especially when you realise it was made in 71.

The book is superb too....and a great read (different to the film at times) if you can understand the language!!!

I did 5,000 word assignment on it for a media course so anyone who wants to know more, im yer man...lol

Im just hoping the special edition hits the uk shores soon...aswell as O Lucky Man....a clockwork inspired film also starring Malcolm Mcdowell.

Cheers all!

A Clockwork Orange is one of my favourite movies...it's brilliant!

Look out for the scenes with Alex and the boys walking by the lake...they were filmed from my cousin's house on the Thamesmead Estate in Abbey Wood, South London!biggrinwink

The film crew wanted the perfect spot to film from and my cousin's house was in the exact spot they were looking for!biggrinwink
