In an interview, for his role as Speckles in G-Force, Nic said he was thinking about creating a new voice rather than using his own. Something like "Edward G. Robinson on helium"! So he is still developing the character even in voice work. Someone yesterday said to me that 'doing the voice isn't exactly acting is it?' to which I replied, if voice actors didn't act, then things like radio plays, where there is no visual image would never never would they? And animated films are not just about the animation!

I'm with you on that Scorpio. Much better to have the visual and the voice! It must be interesting to play a voice though, more restrictive in creating a character especially for an actor as kinetic as Nic, but in a way must really him focus on how to make the role using the voice.

I wonder what it will be like, although i've seen ant bully, with Nic doing the voice for that, I still prefer to watch a movie with him in, then actually hearing his voice, ok, with that sexy voice, it's hard not to like a voice only movie, but that one does sound interesting, will have to keep a look out for that one
you're welcome Scorpio! I know it's only a rumour at this stage, but I'm excited at the thought of Nic involved in another comic type project. I love the idea of him playing the voice of the villain in Astro Boy! Interesting that he may've been working towards this while in Melbourne! Very busy man juggling all these balls!
