I agree hun...our nurses are great, they do a wonderful job!

Thanks Hun, we appreciate that, baby Skye came home tonight, thank god, although they gave her a stomach x-ray, nothing abnormal showed up, just some gas in her bowels, which is a relief, as I think they thought she may have had a blockage in her tummy somewhere, but so far so good, she has been keeping down the breast milk which is a good sign, she doesn't like formula and she has a nice colouring now, not a yellowish tinge on her face, and she seems a bit more contended, the nurses at the childrens ward loved her, as she seemed to have that adorable little face, with all the funny faces she pulls
Not good news at the mo baby Skye isn't too well, she is in hospital under a uv lamp trying to get her jaundice down, funny she wasn't born with it, something just came on, and we took her to Accident and emergency last night as she kept being sick after her feeds, got home about 4.30am, Nikki had to stay with her in a special childrens ward, we was up there all day today, but the hospital sent Nikki home as she is unwell herself, won't eat, feels so sick, exhausted, and tearful, so they are looking after SKye tonight, god knows what tomorrow will bring, we hate leaving her there all alone, I bet she is missing us, I just hope and pray, everything goes ok, they have my mobile number, I'm hoping i dont get a call, but i'm too exhausted as well, that i'm afraid I wont get up there if need be, I don't think I will be able to sleep with the worry, but I have to be strong to help Nikki as well, as at the moment she isn't coping too well with the stress and worry with Skye,
Will do hun, Nikki is just so worried with her at the mo, as we can't get her to take all the milk she should be taking now, so i'm sort of being the baby's second mum to help them, it will take time, i think it's because she was a low birth weight and looks fragile, i'm use to big babies over 8lb, so Skye is new to me, so it's extra worry for all of us at the mo

She looks like a little doll, she is adorable, I will be posting some pics on members today for you to have a look,
Nikki and gary thank everyone for all your kind wishes
Thanx ladies and thank YOU Kim you are so welcome!
In the year or so Kim and I have known each other we've become very close friends so I was thrilled and honoured that Kim and Nikki included 'Auntie Lesley' in all the excitement!

Just to let you all know the good news...I'm an auntie!...Kim's daughter Nikki has given birth to a beautiful baby girl!
Kim phoned me last night to say Nikki was having contractions and we ended up chatting for two hours! At the end of the phone conversation there was still no sign of the baby! Kim called me again this lunchtime to say she and Gary, Nikki's boyfriend, drove Nikki to the hospital around 2am and Nikki gave birth at 9.45am this morning!
Nikki and the baby are doing fine...the baby weighed in at 6lbs 4oz and they've named her Skye!
