I remember you saying about that, the Bram Stoker one, brilliant film with Gary Oldman, Keanu Reeves and good old Anthony Hopkins, all good actors, and it has the most beautiful haunting song by Annie Lennox, A song for a vampire, a really great song, now you mention it I fancy watching that movie tonight
Francis Ford Coppola's Dracula is one of my favourite films. Did you know Nic's Kristina...Westons mum...was one of the three female vampires in that film?!
Yes a lot of great actors and actresses come from London!
I like Gary Oldman, especially in Dracula, I didn't know he was born there?, good actor, funny alot of good actors come from London, and actresses as well....
We've got all the Gimme Gimme Gimme series on dvd.
She was wonderful as Ray Winstones wife in the film Nil By Mouth directed by Gary Oldman. Nil By Mouth was filmed in Bermondsey, South London and Gary Oldman is a south Londoner...he comes from New Cross!
That's true, whenever they do these films they always put some babe in, a great down to earth girl would be ideal, not one that looks like she has just stepped out from the salon or catwalk, I could just imagine her as the one from Gimme Gimme....LMAO, she would frighten the daleks away quite easily
Same here, something different, and to be honest with his acting abilities he can turn them around to whatever kind of movie he has chosen, and fantasy ones seem to suit him quite well
You're welcome hun, I wonder if it will go ahead?, it's still pretty new on the news front, so I wonder if it will go like the others did, , as he was down for a few films but they went ahead with different actors, so hopefully this one won't be, It does seem as Nic is choosing roles to do with fantasy lately, witches, wizards, knights etc, which are the kind of movies I love to watch, something on the lines of Dungeons and Dragons and Dragon Heart
Tropic Thunders Jay Baruchel is busy negotiating to join Disneys new, live-action version of The Sorcerers Apprentice.
Nicolas Cage is already aboard to play the magician searching for a new recruit in a tale set in modern-day New York.
Cages National Treasure director John Turteltaub is behind the camera for the pic.
How To Train Your Dragon
After Tropic Thunder, Baruchel has become something of a go-to guy for DreamWorks: hes romantic comedy Shes Out Of My League for the studio and How To Train You Dragon for its animation arm.
And if youve never seen it, we highly recommend Baruchels debut in Judd Apatows swiftly cancelled but ace TV college comedy Undeclared.
