It might take awhile to upload all those pics to photobucket and then here, do you Myspace? That would be ever so much easier, if not I will just pick a few to post here then...will that work?
Hope your enjoying the weekend!

Whew!!! It's been a very productive week so far. They had a mini job fair for the delegates before the Symposium started and apparently the Command gave my Resume out. Well yesterday I was approached by a Special Agent who works at the Pentagon guarding VIPS, he is very interested in me and thinks I would make a great Special Agent and would like too start me on the long and grueling interview process ASAP. I also was approached by Border Patrol, National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, Defense Logistics Agency. So I have some serious career choices to ponder. I def am going to put in for the Pentagon position, just think how interesting it would be to be private security for big name politicals and the people I would meet!! Not to mention the above average salary and benefits and traveling all over the world...yep I think I would really be good at that job, lol.
I have been taking lots of pictures with my cell phone and will upload them once I get home next week. Tomorrow I have a one on one meeting with Brigadier General Cheek who is the Assistant Surgeon General and hopefully will remember to have someone take our picture, lol.
Today I met a Soldier who was literally blown up by an IED and was not supposed to live. They had to replace half of his skull as well as limbs. And by the grace of the higher powers, he not only is alive but is walking and talking!! I had to hold back tears as he told me his story and I find myself very humbled and honored to be able to meet and talk with Warriors like him and others. Really makes you start putting things in prospective, what's really important and what's not...ya know?

Thanks! I brought my laptop so I can monitor emails and stay in touch with friends. So far everything has been above average treatment. On the flight over, they bumped me to first class for some reason and the hotel room although its a smoking room and has that nasty stale smoke smell, is very nice and roomy. I had a big dinner on the River Walk and now am relaxing in my room...they have a super busy week for me planned! I had thought I was flying back on Sunday, but it looks like I will be here until next tuesday!
I will be snapping pictures with my cell phone and posting when I get a chance.

The Army is flying me to San Antonio tomorrow for a week for the AW2 Wounded Warrior conference and TV interview that I will be doing. So I will be gone for a week. Uncle Sam is putting me up at a rather nice hotel, the Grand Hyatt on the Riverwalk. The Riverwalk is a wonderful strip of resturants, stores, bars, ect in the heart of downtown San Antonio, so it should be an enjoyable trip.
Hopefully I do not mess up the interview or trip on a cable from the monitors and equipment and bust my booty!
I'll let ya'll know how it went when I return next week, be good!!
