Sounds NICe, funny how we remember our childhood days and the fun we used to have, I haven't really been to many places in Sussex, Hastings I've been to, I may have been other places, but at the moment can't remember...lol
Sussex is a lovely county. I spent a lot of time down there when I was a child...we had family friends in Worthing and my dad's aunt (my great aunt Louise) lived in St. Leonards-On-Sea just up the road from Hastings.
Aunt Lou lived in a big old house at the top of a hill and we used to spend weekends and holidays there every summer. We used to go to the beach, climb the cliffs and visit the caves...it was magical.
yeah probably as Kent is quite a big place and borders with sussex, so it must just be on the outskirts of Kent, sounds nice though, and by judging some of the pics I saw on google, sussex looks really nice in that part, Crowborough, I've never heard of the place until recently...lol
They will have a good time, ex Ghurka's run it, so all their food is going to be probably curry...lol, as far as I know they cook really nice food but can be a little spicy, so she better beware... and they are with some regular army guys as well, full camp over 250 including Bec's unit staying there, but they wont socialise with cadets too young, but it's going to be an interesting weekend for them
Right just googled it, Yeah near Royal Tunbridge Wells, not too far from there, oh i dissed him...LMAO, he was right after all. shame on me Crowborough comes under sussex and on the map its showing near Royal Tunbridge Wells, he said it takes a couple of hours from where we live
LMAO, yeah so it is, what the hell...lol, he told me that place, unless he was getting a bit confused, bless him he does that her sergeant, i will have to look that up now, i know the name of the place, that's going to bug me now...lol
lol, yeah I know what you mean, Royal Mail sucks at the moment, you know other companies now are taking to going with other postal companies as they can't guarantee that their post will get delivered, how bad is that?
Yeah poor Becs been suffering these past couple of weeks..., she is going away the end of this month, exactly on the my birthday and I can imagine how cold it's going to be at this army camp as it's set in a valley near Tunbridge Wells, sussex, nice part of the country but i bet its damn cold...lol bet she will come back with another cold...now the cold damp weather is setting in and the nights drawing in.
