Here is a poem I wrote sometime ago where I mention Shakespeare. Keep in mind this piece in no way comes close too that awe inspiring works of art he wrote, matter of fact I think my poem is pretty lame, but oh well. Here ya go:
Flimsy me
So Fragile, so weak
Flimsy me, tentative to talk Sensitive to the fragmentations of your thoughts
Look at my delicate tears, are they just for your jeers?
Feel how they fall, they are not yours to call..these titanic fears
"Wherefore art thou", thunders the long dead Shakespeare in my head
Flimsy me, weepy me
Poetically writing, cathedral like singing to the highest above
I shout out this last non-biblical verse:
"Silly me, flimsy me"

Farewell! thou art too dear for my possessing, And like enough thou know'st thy estimate, The charter of thy worth gives thee releasing; My bonds in thee are all determinate. For how do I hold thee but by thy granting? And for that riches where is my deserving? The cause of this fair gift in me is wanting, And so my patent back again is swerving. Thy self thou gavest, thy own worth then not knowing, Or me to whom thou gav'st it else mistaking; So thy great gift, upon misprision growing, Comes home again, on better judgement making. Thus have I had thee, as a dream doth flatter, In sleep a king, but waking no such matter.
*sighs* You had me @ Shakespeare!! LOL. I do enjoy wrapping my mind around his work from time to time.
